I am a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, with over 20 years in a private practice in Pleasanton, CA.
I earned an undergraduate degree in Rhetoric at University of California, Davis and a Masters degree in Counseling at Cal State East Bay. I use an eclectic approach to therapy including Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Mindfulness Techniques. I enjoy helping individuals, couples and families understand their past, make peace with their present and move toward a satisfying and fulfilling future.
I use my life experiences, Christian faith, training and education to connect with individuals in all phases and walks of life. I have a compassionate and understanding approach to helping individuals, couples and families navigate life's challenges. I treat depression, anxiety, couples and family conflict resolution, addiction, divorce, grief and loss.
As well as being a successful therapist, I support Churches in the Tri-Valley area and am a high school youth leader. I have been married for 23 years and have two teen-age children. I love my familiy, friendships, and my Tibetan Terrier. I enjoy running, gardening, a good movie and great food!
